HONEYRIDER have named themselves after a blonde bikini clad beach-babe from the 1960s James Bond Film Dr No. They are all from San Diego, California and grew up skateboarding, surfing and hanging out at the drag strip. They're big fans of The Ramones, The Beach Boys and The Jesus and Mary Chain. SPLASHDOWN is their new 14 track album full of laid back bubblegum pop, twangy guitar melody, bah-bah-bah vocals and a warm summer feel.
