THE GORILLAS were originally known as the 'Hammersmith Gorillas' and released their first single in 1974, their version of THE KINKS "You Really Got Me" was one of those early singles which opened the doors for punk a few years later. They also had the most amazing sideburns ever to grace a rock band. Damaged Goods re-issues their re-issue of this legendary debut album which originally came out on Raw Records with 3 bonus tracks: the 1978 'alternative chart' topper "It's My Life", "I'm Seventeen" and "My Son's Alive".
