For "The Getty Address" Dave Longstreth, the primary DIRTY PROJECTOR, stuck to his messy guns and recorded unusual arrangements he wrote for a wind septet, a cello octet and a women's choir, digitally remastered them, sang over the reconstituted parts and spiced things up with the addition of de-tuned guitars and a taste for Wagnerian psychodrama. The result is an epic opera about Don Henley of country/soft-rock group THE EAGLES. Longstreth is helped out by the ORCHESTRAL SOCIETY FOR THE PRESERVATION OF THE ORCHESTRA and the BROWN FINCH CHOIR and was inspired by Longstreth's tour with Adam Forkner, the K-Records/States Rights Records guru. The band also toured with THE MICROPHONES, LANDING and BROKEN SOCIAL SCENE.
