Recordings 1983-1986 Vol.1: Tarnfarbe was founded in 1982 in Neuwied / Germany by Ralf (Vox & Bass), Michael (guitars) and Willi (drums) and their sound was strongly influenced by American hardcore, which was a bit unusual in Germany at the time and you played fast, catchy & melodic pearls with German and English lyrics. Her first album Heroes Of Today was released in 1984 by a very small label called Rat Records and is considered a milestone in German punk music, why is not known, but it is true. On the album "Vorstufe Apokalypse Recordings 1983 - 1986 Vol.1" there are 14 songs from the early days of the band, including the first demo, as well as rare material from various vinyl and tape samplers.
