Songs such as "Grow Up", which almost gives the album its name, and "Too Young" address cultural uprooting, society's treatment of the female body and the pressures of growing up. Experimental rap passages, the Persian instrument santur and even a mobile phone recording of a metal chain lend the songs ever new facets and playfulness.
