Shining like a gold coin onthe pub floor, TWISTER are here to remind you what pop is all about. They somehow manage to find the middle ground between the thrilling spiky punk sounds of bands like THESE ANIMAL MEN, the perfectly crafted pop of THE BLUETONES and the sexy stomp of a prime-time MARC BOLAN. After releasing their first 7" "Teenage Pregnancy" on Rotator/Shifty Disco they turned to Damaged Goods and released their second 7" "It's a dog's life" and their third single "Holiday". "Mums, Dads and Ladyboys" is TWISTER's debut full length album and is a fine collection of their glam-edged pop-punk tunes. In fact, we think that it is a bit like an up-to-date version of THE UNDERTONES only with more sex and less anoraks.
