From the opening chords of "I Wanna Be Loved" the raw, relentless sincerity of The Hangmen is obvious. Formed in Los Angeles in 1986 the band's Capital Records debut was lost in a sea of bad Hollywood rock, but was a influential among the burgeoning Seattle music scene.
