Die Hardcore-Punk-Band Amulet gründeten sich 1993 in Oslo. Nach mehreren Mini-CDs und Singles auf verschiedenen Labels und erfolgreichen Touren durch die europäische Hardcore-Szene erschien im Herbst 2000 mit "The Burning Sphere" auf Bitzcore die erste längere Platte der Band. Aufgenommen von Knut Schreiner (Turbonegro & Euroboys) im Osloer Endless-Studio, ist dabei eine Synthese aus kraftvollem New School Hardcore und Turbonegro-Sound entstanden.
