Über diesen Artikel

Seit den 1970er-Jahren zählt er zu den außergewöhnlichsten Musikern der USA: Tav Falco. Beeinflusst von Punk, Rockabilly, Garage-Rock und Blues gründete er 1979 in Memphis zusammen mit seinem Mentor Alex Chilton die Wreckabilly-Band Panther Burns. Seit 1981 veröffentlichte der Musiker, Schauspieler, Filmemacher und Fotograf regelmäßig Platten, die zahlreiche Musiker - von Jon Spencer Blues Explosion über The Fall, Spacemen 3 bis Spiritualized - beeinflusst haben. Auf dieser Doppel-CD im Dreier-Digipack finden sich das neu gemasterte Album "The World We Knew", das 1987 zusammen mit Chilton entstand. Außerdem Songs der "Shake Rag"-EP und Liveaufnahmen aus dem Babylone Club in Bordeaux vom April 1987.
