After releasing ,Bury Me In Philly" in 2017 racking up millions of Spotify streams (on a release which Rolling Stone called ,exhilarating") and playing over 200 shows across the world with his band The Mermaid, Dave hause was stockpilling songs and gearing up to record his fourth solo record. In April, Hause found out his wife was having twins and plans shifted. ,I was going to have to push back the release of the next full length for the due date, but I realized there's no reason to hold back some of these songs that I've already got. These are good songs and they aren't doing anyone any good just hanging aroud in my head."
