We Were Strangers: My Top 5
Am 17. März erscheint mit "Beneath A Broken Sky" endlich das Debütalbum von WE WERE STRANGERS, der Band rund um den Tausendsassa, Sänger, Gitarristen und Kopf der Band Stefan Melbourne. Die Platte wird auf 300 Exemplare limitiert sein und wir sind voll froher Erwartung - auch auf die darauf folgende Deutschlandtour. Stefan traf sich vor ein paar Tagen mit uns zum fernmündlichen Kaffee, um uns etwas über seine fünf abosluten Lieblingsplatten zu erzählen. Hier ist das Ergebnis!
My best friends dad played me this record when I was 18, as soon as I heard the first line I was in. Such an incredible and almost spiritual album, it’s one of those records that doesn’t feel like it was recorded, but just sprung out of the earth complete and full of magic.

This is probably on so many peoples list. I think it’s as close to a perfect unperfect record as you can get. There are so many reasons why this record is important to me, yet I’d struglle to say one...
05. Keaton Henson Romantic Works
I read a review of this album without knowing anything about it, they described it as ‚’Bedroom Classical’. It is so incredibly intimate and beautiful. There’s so much space in this album that I find I just get completely lost. The simplicity and rawness get me every time.
