01.        The Black Dahlia Murder      Nocturnal       
Reason this album is so influential for us is it changed our approach to writing songs.  These songs felt like actual songs rather then a bunch of ideas gathered into one song.  A lot of these parts were memorable and made you want to listen to it over and over, which is something that we try to accomplish with every song.
 
02.        Behemoth       Evangelion     
It's just a real massive album.  It’s just an album which allowed us to see how to create a massive sound with very simple ideas.  Something we are still trying to accomplish.
 
03.        Fallujah             The Flesh Prevails    
Just an enjoyable album that pushed our boundaries whether it be more of a technical sound or to have more of a progressive dynamic sound. Also adding depth and layers to our music.
 
04.        Whitechapel   Somatic Defilement 
Another album that pushed the threshold for what we viewed heavy at the point in time.  Back in 2007 we didn't listen to a lot of what we would consider heavy so this really opened up our eyes and ears to really heavy music and changed the way we play music .
 
05.        Dimmu Borgir              Death Cult Armageddon
The reason this album is so important to me it was the first time in my life I was shocked into liking a band.  Other than sonically appealing it was the first time my threshold for imagery was pushed.  Never seen anything extensive like that and was the first time the whole picture was ever met.  Normally before that was bands that were dudes in bands these guys looked like demons playing guitar.
