2012 jährt sich zum 15. Mal das Erscheinen des fünften Albums der Brit-Pop-Band The Charlatans. "Tellin' Stories" ging damals in England sofort auf Nummer eins der Charts, musikalisch knüpfte die Band aus Birmingham an ihr selbst betiteltes Erfolgsalbum "The Charlatans" (1995) an, legte aber mehr Wert aufs Songwriting. Das Reissue erscheint als Zwei-CD-Set mit dem von den Originalbändern neu gemasterten Album und einer CD mit B-Seiten und unveröffentlichtem Material. Die LP erscheint in limitierter 1000er-Version auf farbigem Vinyl im Klappcover. Flankiert wird die Wiederveröffentlichung vom Erscheinen der gleichnamigen Biografie "Tellin' Stories" des Charlatans-Sängers Tim Burgess.
